The beverage packaging deposit system will be launched in Latvia on February 1.

In all Mego deposit points, you can return a suitable beverage packaning, regardless of where it was purchased. Eligible packaging is empty, not flattened or broken, and has a label with a clearly visible deposit mark and a barcode. There will be two types of deposit acceptance places in Latvia: automatic, where packaging will be accepted by vending machines, and manual, where the packaging will be accepted by a store employee.

• 1. Bring an empty, unsqueezed package with a deposit mark to the deposit acceptance point

• 2. Return the package to any of 72 Mego locations throughout Latvia
• 3. Refund the fee-coupon for returned packaging units
